March 27 - 31, 2017

Monday: Students will read the first three pages of chapter 10 with the teacher and then fill in the blanks on the first part of their notes and answer any chapter questions.
Tuesday: Students will read and complete cloze notes and chapter questions from Chapter 10 in the social studies textbook. Chapter questions will be assessed on the clickers in class and students will go back and make corrects and then compare notes with an academic partner to make sure everything is correct.
Wednesday - Students will create a set of 15 multiple choice questions with A - D answer choices from chapter 10. These questions will be shared with a partner to review for the test.
Thursday: Chapter questions will be assessed on the clickers in class and students will go back and make corrects and then compare notes with an academic partner to make sure everything is correct. Students will be able to take a practice test on the computer if they did not study last night.
Class will take a test over Chapter 10 and the vocabulary slides completed last week over chapters 9-10.
Friday: We will be reading articles and answering questions on current events from Scholastic magazine in class together.
ELT: Students will reassess the last test as needed.

Mach 20 - 24, 2017

Monday: Students will complete a set of vocabulary slides on chapters 9 - 10 vocabulary. Each slide will include an illustration, definition, real-world example, and a sentence demonstrating an understanding of the meaning of the vocabulary word.
Tuesday: Students will read and complete cloze notes and chapter questions from Chapter 9 in the social studies textbook. Chapter questions will be assessed on the clickers in class and students will go back and make corrects and then compare notes with an academic partner to make sure everything is correct.
Wednesday - Thursday: Students will complete chapter 9 written response questions and create a set of 15 multiple choice questions with A - D answer choices. These questions will be shared with a partner to review for the test.
Friday: Take a test over Chapter 9 and the vocabulary slides completed last week over chapters 9-10.

ELT: We will read "A Long Walk To Water" together dependent upon how many people need to reassess.

March 13 - 17, 2017

Monday: Students will correct any deficiencies on tests by getting correct version, writing question and corrected answer on notebook paper, and receive an 80 percent or greater on the computerized test. Students who do not have to reassess will complete a slideshow on Quizlet and create a crossword puzzle on Discoveryeducation.com as a means of learning another set of study tools.

March 6 - 10, 2017

Monday: Students will complete vocabulary slides on Google Classroom for Chapters 5-8 by getting definition and example from book and illustration/photo from the web.
Tuesday - Thursday: Students will complete cloze notes together in class as we read the text together from Chapters 7, 8. Wednesday and Thursday students will complete questions from the chapter on the clickers and then correct answers with a partner - this activity may change depending upon when we complete the sections from the book. Thursday and Friday we will also devote time to review via computer for test.
Friday: Test over chapters 7, 8 and vocabulary.
