April 24 - 28, 2017

Monday: Students will complete their 25 question review quiz to share with their classmates as we prepare for Tuesday's Chapter 12 test. The questions will be posted to a spreadsheet and students will take each other's test and record their scores. We will also play review basketball as a class.
Tuesday: Test over Chapter 12. Students will spend the first half of class reviewing on the computer practice test before taking the test.
Wednesday - Friday: We will review for the Unit 3 test, Chapters 1-12 in a mixture of paper, book and computer activities. Each day we will play a review game to prepare for the test. The test is tentatively scheduled for Friday however if review takes longer we will move it to early next week.

April 17 - 21, 2017

Google Classroom and students will fill in missing information from the text. This week's schedule will change because of statewide testing so each class will move through the chapter and questions as we can together. We will put answers in the clickers later this week after we have worked through the chapter and eventually have a test over the material after we review, tentatively scheduled for Friday but may be moved to next week if necessary.
Friday: We will be reading articles and answering questions on current events from Scholastic magazine in class together.

April 10 - 14, 2017

Monday: Students will complete a new set of vocabulary notes using Google slides.Each slide will include an illustration, definition, real-world example, and a sentence demonstrating an understanding of the meaning of the vocabulary word.
Tuesday-Wednesday: Students will read and complete cloze notes and chapter questions from Chapter 11 in the social studies textbook. Chapter questions will be assessed on the clickers in class and students will go back and make corrects and then compare notes with an academic partner to make sure everything is correct.
Thursday - Students will create a set of 15 multiple choice questions with A - D answer choices from chapter 11. These questions will be shared with a partner to review for the test.
