Work Period
New flashcard vocabulary:Rural, Scarce, Reservoir, Partitioning, Natural Resources, Infrastructure. (Monday: create new flashcards, Tuesday: word wall drawings, Wednesday: "Around the World" game, Thursday: 5 minutes studying flashcards on your own, 5 minutes with a partner, Friday: Vocab. quiz).
Work Period:
Reading/Questions: Chapter 15 (human impact), 16 (ethnic groups/religious groups) in Student Workbook. Students complete quick and enrichment activities at the end of each section. Random student selector used to choose students to read and answer questions. Students can shoot the basketball if they get an answer correct. Winner gets Rambler pride cards. Thinking Map: Triple Bubble map to compare/contrast Islam, Christianity, Judaism Brainpop: Religions ELT: Continue Atlas activity to analyze thematic maps, pages 80 - 83. Video on Islam.
