Tuesday - Counselor visits Wednesday - Friday: Students will be completing two lessons on the Stock Market Game in preparation for the Georgia Economic Council's 10-week simulation activity. Teachers from LaFayette Middle recently attended a training session in order to play the game, which kicks off Jan. 31, 2017 when students will compete with other schools in Georgia and across the United States. This week students will learn about the stock market, will create teams of three to compete against others, and take the first steps in picking companies in which to invest $100,000 in virtual funds.
