Work Period:
Monday: Students will receive graded tests taken Friday. Any student with a failing grade will have a “Reassessment by 8/29” stamped on their answer sheet. Students have five days to reassess any test taken from the date tests are handed back to the class. In order to reassess, students have to write the question and correct answer to any questions missed on the original test (a copy is available upon request) and conference with me to make sure they understand why errors were made. In addition, any chapter questions or other graded materials leading up to the test must have been completed and turned in.
New vocabulary words written on notebook paper: Geography, unequal distribution, Suez Canal, monotheism, Sunni, Shia. Words/definitions available on Quizlet. Differentiation: Words and definitions will be displayed on Smartboard and read aloud. Students will add List 2 to their vocabulary section of notebook.
